My name is Sophia Albano, and I am the detective behind my alter-ego Soph At The Scene.
I fell in love with concerts at the young age of 7 when my parents reluctantly took me to my first concert High School Musical on Tour. Throughout the rest of my childhood I dragged them to live shows ranging from Hannah Montana, to Carrie Underwood, to The American Idol Tour.
While all teenagers crave freedom, I craved freedom in the sense of being able to go to concerts. When I hit high school, I finally found this long desired freedom, and spent any spare money I had on concert tickets. In this time of self discovery, I found music to be my most utilized tool. I went through phases of country, to punk, to boyband pop. All of these phases are formative to who I am today.
As a young professional, I find value in all genres of music. I am on a constant search for new music and underground artists who are waiting to be discovered. I spend my time curating playlists and counting down the days until my next concert.
As Soph at the scene, I am your personal detective who will investigate the music scene and report back the full story. Concert junkies can expect honest concert reviews and music lovers can expect this site to be a channel of discovery.
